How Far Along: 21 Weeks
Size of Baby: Cantaloupe 12.7 oz., 10.5 in.
Total Weight Gain: 7 lbs
Favorite Clothes: Still in my normal clothes, thankfully I wear a lot of clothes that are WAY too big for me normally so it all usually fits through pregnancy. Pants are starting to hurt even with the rubber band trick. Shorts are good to go though and hopefully will be good through July when little one gets here! I still love leggings though and wear those several times a week!
Sleep: I am sleeping really well actually, only once or twice at night to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately, I have been waking up at about 5 AM and not being able to go back to sleep and Tom has been waking up at 545-615 so I wouldn’t get much more sleep anyway.
Must-Haves: Water is with me always and my planner because without it I would forget most of the day!
Cravings: Blizzards from DQ, ice cream, cookies and salsa. I have had a lot of weird cravings this pregnancy, but sweets has not been one of them until this past week. I got some S’mores girl scout cookies and my Samoas and it has been a struggle all week to stop eating them!
Baby Movement: I don’t feel him moving too much if I am moving around, but the moment I stop and sit or lay down he is going crazy in there. He has been a big mover since I started feeling him at 14 weeks so I hope that isn’t a sign he will be a wide awake, wiggle worm like my first-born lol or I can be looking forward to NO sleep lol! I do LOVE feeling him move though!
Gender: Boy, which was very sad for me at first because I really wanted a girl again, but God thinks three boys and one girl is what I need so I accept that!
Hubby: He finally looked at some names and we are going through our lists and trying to narrow it down so I can start thinking of the nursery.
Best Moment this Week: Accepting that I am not getting a girl for my last pregnancy. My daughter is almost ten and I wanted another girl when I was pregnant with Paxton, Tom and now this little monkey. It has been hard to accept that I won’t be getting that last girl, but God helped me accept that this week when Kara was full of sass and attitude WAY more than usual. God answered my prayer to help me accept it, lol it made for a rough week with my daughter though haha! I was very glad to finally feel at peace with God’s decision to bless me with another boy!
