Sorry my head is cut off haha, my husband was making me laugh so hard when I was trying to get him to take the picture and I looked so ridiculous!
how far along: 23 Weeks
size of baby: Eggplant 11.38 in., 1.10 lbs.
total weight gain: 8 lbs
favorite clothes: Shorts, all week it has been so hot here in Mississippi. So I have been in shorts and t-shirts all week!
symptoms: I have so much energy throughout the day, which is so AMAZING because I have missed the energy. Starving, all the time. I have been having on and off pain in my pelvis and some sciatica. Heartburn of course is always persistent. And Braxton Hicks, which I alwasy start getting around 20 weeks, it has been happening pretty often though throughout the day.
sleep: Since Zach has been on nights this week, I have slept pretty well because I have the entire bed to myself haha! I still cannot guess the time in the morning though since the time change. So I either get up really early thinking it is around 6, but it isn’t or I get up super late and have to rush around! I know I could use an alarm, but I would start my day off grumpy if I woke to an alarm.
must-haves: Water, and I got a super cute cup a few days ago that I LOVE! Coffee, in the morning, I still need my one cup or I cannot seem to fully wake up. My body pillow, since I have to sleep on my sides now I have been having a lot of hip pain at night so I can semi-lay on my back propped up on my body pillow and that eases the pain some.
cravings: Cheeseburgers, fries, ketchup, sugar in any form.
baby movement: Still haven’t been feeling him move too much, but when he does move it is in a more concentrated amount of time. He sits so low I am in quite a bit of discomfort in my pelvis throughout the day because he sits so low.
gender: Boy, and yes he is still nameless : /!
husband: Has been super loving this week, which I needed. I am glad that he takes my mood swings in stride. One more week of work and he will finally have his week off so that’ll be a nice help with kids.
best moment this week: Zach and I watched a movie together, which we have not been able to do in some time since I have been so tired in the evenings. It was so nice to just have time for us. We really are going to have to figure some way to fit more “us” time in.
