24 Week Bumpdate (Ear of Corn)
how far along: 24 Weeks
size of baby: Ear of Corn 11.8 in., 1.3 lb
total weight gain: 10 lbs
favorite clothes: I have felt so good all week and have been able to enjoy this wonderful spring time weather with shorts (rubber-banded together, of course) and t-shirts!
symptoms: I have so much energy throughout the day, which is so AMAZING because I have missed the energy. Sadly I have been feeling nauseous a bit this week so haven’t eaten as much. Still waking up a lot through the night because of hip pain and the need to go to the bathroom. Lower back pain, foot pain and for some reason I have been having A LOT of hand and wrist pain, my joints just feel tight.
sleep: I have slept really well this week and not woken up too early which is wonderful! I do get up a few times at night for the bathroom and because I have to switch sides because my hips hurt.
must-haves: Same, still water all day long! Coffee, in the morning, I still need my one cup or I cannot seem to fully wake up. My body pillow, since I have to sleep on my sides now I have been having a lot of hip pain at night so I can semi-lay on my back propped up on my body pillow and that eases the pain some.
cravings: Chinese food.
baby movement: Oh my goodness he has been so wild this week. I have been woken up two nights this week from his movements. I can feel him moving all day, I am beginning to wonder when he sleeps lol.
gender: Boy, and yes he is still nameless : /!
husband: He was working day shift all week, so I only saw him in the evenings for dinner and to watch a show each night, so we still have no name picked out.
best moment this week: Paxton had a field trip to the children’s museum in Gulfport and Zach was able to take off that and come. So we did that and then went to lunch, it was nice!
